What if you discovered that the highchair you have been putting your child in has injured other children? That is exactly what has been reported about the Graco Harmony highchair.

Graco Children’s Products Inc., based in Atlanta, Ga., along with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, recently announced the recall of approximately 1.2 million Graco Harmony highchairs.

According to the manufacturer, the screws holding the front legs can become loose, sometimes falling out, and cause the plastic brackets on the rear legs to crack. The chair then may become unstable, which can lead to a serious fall hazard.

Graco has received 464 reports of its Harmony highchairs tipping over unexpectedly. The manufacturer has also received 24 reports of children becoming injured due to the highchairs becoming unstable.

As you can imagine, these injuries can be serious. If you or someone you know has a child who has been injured by a defective highchair or other product, then you should consider seeking legal advice. You might be able to file a claim against the manufacturer.
